Fresh Farmacy face soap from Lush ($9.75 for 3.5 oz)
“Feel like you have the world’s most sensitive skin? Allow us to prescribe you a bar of Fresh Farmacy, our calamine-based cleansing bar. Fresh Farmacy contains chamomile extract to calm, rose and lavender to soothe dry patches and tea tree to clear up any blemishes. The name stems all the way back to the beginning of LUSH, when we held a competition to name the company. Although we (obviously) went with another option, we thought the name appropriate for our problem-solving cleanser.” - Lush Website
I bought this soap in September, while I was still in Austin, because I was really tired of my skin being out of control. I have a long history of acne-prone, oily skin, sensitive and this soap has done wonders.
It’s marketed as a soothing Calamine cleanser, and soothe it does. I’m still using the piece I originally bought, but I’m going to have to purchase more soon (and keep in mind, I use this every day, one to two times a day, and the piece is 3.5 oz). This soap helped dry up any blemishes I had, but didn’t dry me out at all.
It’s oil free, and does what it says. If you’re looking for something that soothes and helps troubled, sensitive skin (and smells great), I would definitely reccommend this.
